M/Y Hyjac is an exceptional example of the high quality, open layout and performance capabilities of Marlow Yachts. While Hyjac was built in 2003, over the last 5 years, she has undergone a series of upgrades/refit work that include, most notably,  a custom bow-to-stern blocking keel.  This upgrade was designed by world renowned Impact Naval Architects (Tim Nolan) and work performed by Nordlund Boat Company.  This addition of the custom keel not only adds value over all the other Marlow’s, but it gives the Captain the knowledge that this long range vessel can withstand any element of boating that is thrown at her, including following seas and any yard blocking situation.  Her overall performance numbers did not change but, the strength and handling changed dramatically making this Marlow the best one on the market.

In addition to the custom keel, there is a custom lounge deck on the flybridge that is fantastic for hosting friends and family. This area was created to “yacht standards” and includes custom seating, a custom bar with top of the line appliances as well as a propane fire pit. There is a hydraulic TNT lift (1650 lbs Capacity) included with the boat and is currently stored offsite ready to be installed. This lounge deck components of the bar and seating area were designed to be be removed if the new owner desires to have the tender back on the flybridge.  The current owner towed his larger tender.

Another key attribute that sets this Marlow apart from the others is the generous 20′ 2″ beam, which is most noticeable in the engine room for allowing full access to the outboard side of the engines. This wide beam also provides additional space in other important areas of the vessel including the covered side decks, salon, flybridge, master stateroom, and aft deck. This open arrangement gives you complete unparalleled 360 degree views of your surroundings whether you are anchored or underway. She is also equipped with a large fourth stateroom, or crew quarters, that adds more opportunity than other yachts in this size range.  Overall, the size is comparable to an 80′ yacht but packaged in 72 feet.
