Born in Michigan, Jeff’s love of the water started at an early age when his father would take Jeff and his brother fishing on the lakes in Michigan on the family boat. He was bitten by the boating bug and has never looked back. As a young man, he ventured into the restaurant business that evolved into a 30-year career, in which Jeff and his partner designed, built, owned, and operated what would become a successful chain of restaurants in multiple states and the Caribbean. His boating days were spent actively racing sailboats competing in everything from the Chicago Mackinaw race 6 times to Key West Race week and SORC over a dozen times, along with being the crew chief for a 2 time Rolex champion in the St. Thomas Rolex Regatta. His love for sailing took Jeff and his wife Anna of 30 years to the Caribbean for many cruising vacations. The cruising area was so enjoyable; they have maintained a home in St. Thomas for the past 25 years. The British Virgin Islands are a great backyard cruising ground. Jeff is an active member of the St Thomas Yacht Club. If you are thinking of heading South or throughout the Caribbean, please feel free to contact Jeff. He has a tremendous amount of local knowledge to assist you on your trip. Jeff is the founder of Quiet Angel Foundation, a 501 3C non-profit focusing on the health and well-being of the youth of our country. He is also a big supporter of the Make A Wish Foundation. His hobbies include hosting social gatherings to showcase his passion for cooking and fine red wine, listening to music, and of course, anything boating. After following Marlow for many years, Jeff became a proud Marlow owner by building a 58E. He was so impressed with the quality and craftsmanship of the boat; he approached David and Michael, requesting to be considered as a member of the dynamic sales team. Jeff looks forward to helping you design and build, or acquire your Marlow Explorer.
Safe travels and calm seas.
